The distance in feet a creature can walk in a single round.

Rules differ for non life-threatening time.

Travel

Travel Pace

Pace determines any effects.

You move at half your normal speed in difficult terrain.

Travel is assumed to be for 8 hours a day, longer risks exhaustion.

Mounted characters can ride twice the 'fast' pace for 1 hour.

Wagons and similar use the regular pace table.

Activities While Travelling

Players should establish their Marching Order, i.e. their front, middle, and rear ranks.

Slow travelling facilitates Stealth.

Passive Perception is used to determine if anyone notices threats.
